Scrappy Christmas Class

The purpose of the Guild is to promote knowledge of and interest in quilting and the art of quilt making through educational programs and demonstrations.  Members meet every Tuesday night from 6:00 to 8:00 in the First United Methodist Church Youth Hall, 2901 Caledonia Street, Marianna.

On the 4th Tuesday of every month a business meeting is held.  A short informative program is presented by different members demonstrating quilting techniques or hints.

Membership dues are $15 a year.  Anyone interested in quilting can join.  You do not need to know how to sew to belong!  Beginners start by making a four blocks that offer several different quilting techniques.  The blocks are:  nine patch, drunkard's path, an appliqué heart block and the shoo fly. More experienced members of the club will help the new members. Examples and Supplies
